I get the freeze problem as well iMac20 G5 original edition - I GB Ram, no other programs running. All Elgato data is stored on one 500 GB Lacie d2 Extreme using Firewire 400.
The freeze problem - continues to record or play in full screen but the spinning ball is present and no other commands will work but I can perform a force quit.
This problem previously was not present.
Elgato eyetv is a great product and perhaps the best thing ever to happen for Lacie.
Any ideas on how I can get two 500 GB drives to look like one drive location in the Elgato 2.2 Software?

Turn them into a RAID.

Thanks Derik - I thought about that. At the moment, I put a lot of recordings of CBeedies materials (A BBC Educational Five and under channel in the UK) and Classic Black and White Movies on the second disc and change the Eye TV Preferences when needed.
