Ripping shouldn't hurt your computer in any way, nor should it be illegal, so long as you don't start to burn it for people or put it on the internet or in a torrent. Babically, ripping it to your computer cna be considered merely making a personal backup copy. You could even burn disks ffor yourself if you want with no legel qualm.
Anything more than your personal use, though, and you're on your own.

okay, I'm actually going to use mactheripper to back up my movies...and to watch them on trips and such.
But, this movie is 7.52 gbs and I selected it so it only has the main feature....
however it's taking wayyyyy to long to download
