What's the difference between emulators such as Mini vMac and Apple's Classic? Are there lots of them? What are the advantages of using Classic?

Totally different functions. Mini vMac is designed for emulating very old macs on new hardware. Classic is designed to allow Mac users to run legacy application along-side OS X applications. Unless you have the desire to play around on System 5, you really have no need for vMac.

That was the idea. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Why do you say it's for emulating on new hardware, though? Isn't it smaller than Classic?
Edit: Oh, Classic doesn't give you a virtual environment and desktop and stuff, does it? I should know that. I only used it about once.
