Hello!
We are having major issues connecting laptop carts to our Novell network wirelessly through an Airport Extreme Base Station. We have 11 carts of Dell laptops running Windows XP SP2, most of which at one time or another experience this problem. We set them up so the laptops connect automatically via wireless to the Airport network. We set up the Airport so that it will hand out IP addresses in a specified range. When students attempt to logon, the first 5 or so per cart are able to connect, but when more than that try to logon the laptops do not see our Novell tree. If they wait 10 minutes or so, most times they can then logon. Now, granted there are sometimes 10 kids trying to connect at a time, but I haven't found anything in any knowledge bases saying the Airport would not be able to handle this. I know that the Airport is limited to 50 concurrent connections, but there are only 12 laptops to a cart. If anyone has any suggestions as to settings we may have missed, your help would be greatly appreciated. It's exam time, so it's crucial that these laptops are able to connect. Thank you!!!
