Apple and Sony are setting of on a tour touting the strengths of Final Cut Studio and Sony’s XDCAM HD system. more

It's still tape at the end. You get all the way to the end, and realize you still need to dump to HDCAM for the broadcast master. Try running to the dub house every time the network wants a correction. HD sources change every year, but the same headaches remain.

The plural of the noun "company" is "companies." The word "company's" is the singular possessive form of "company." Does anybody read these press releases before posting them as "news"?

Ge-zus man get a life.
It's funny how sony is all for taking this tour with Apple, but yet you still have to watch previews in either Real Media, or Windows Media at their website. Why no QT sony? Get with it.

Yo, thinkin' tha same here. Not to mention the VAIO HDV editing systems, which are STRAIGHT competitors to Final Cut-equipped workstations... can't get a grip of what Apple and Sony are thinking...
