Can anyone comment on the experience of using Parallels with Windows with one of Garmin's automotive GPS's (such as a StreetPilot)?

Fine, so I'll postpone any thoughts of purchasing a new Garmin GPS until mid 2007. My GPS III+ and V still work.
Am not terribly surprised. Management probably thought they could buy a kit or rent a kid to convert existing software to run on Macintosh. Garmin Mapsource is a clumsy stinky program even for Windows norm and needs a total rework.

Cant comment on Parallels but I've had no issues updating my Nuvi using Virtual PC (which as you know sucks). I doubt you'll have any problems at all.

Probably would've, but he couldn't get it to work with his Mac.

The timing of this release seems very peculiar. Seems like they are seeing some Leo...excuse me Pard-on me.
I expect them to wait to sync to the new OS X.
GPS compatability to be included in the new leopard???
AppleInsider - VoIP and other Leopard Goodies.
We will see.
