Hello all. i am new to this board (first post acually)
i am an editor and am looking to make the jump to mac so i can get into final cut pro as well.
I was recently told that the intel macs cant properly run avid... and since i make my money as an editor i cant sit around with an intel powermac while i wait for avid to catch up. so i guess im stuck with a G5 powerpc powermac... which i am fine with (i am still a bit iffy about the intel macs)
does anyone know how long the non intel powermacs will be available? i just need to know how long i have until i am screwed..

any help would be apreciated
