Palm...message said unexpected end of file?

Hi I have a Powerbook G4 and a Palm Tungsten T2. I tried to sync tonight and something froze. Computer said to restart..I did. Still same message. I shut computer down for a while and tried again and when I try to do anything in palm message is saying Unexpected end of file. It won't even let me go to Finder/applications and pull palm up that way. Any ideas on what happened and what I should do. Thank you,
