I've been using PS since Photoshop 6. I can't live without it.
However, whenever I do something CS2 crashes. Every freakin' time.
I'll be working on an image. I'll then open up a new file and try to drag the image (whilst holding down the shift key to center) and as soon as I click on the image to drag, PS crashes. Everytime. Have the latest updates too.
Using 10.4.7 on a G5 with 2.5GB Ram/Dual 2ghz.
Any help on this appreciated. It's driving me nuts and I am behind in my work now because of it. Aaarrrggghhh!

You may try trashing the application preferences and seeing if that helps things. Are there any applications you have installed that could be conflicting with PS?
And, have you been having issues with other applications? Maybe a RAM issue (chips going bad)?

Try running Photoshop from a newly created user. If no crashes occur, you can safely assume something with your normal user is hosed. (PS pref, a font, etc.)
If it still crashes, it might be a bad PS install, or bad hardware as already mentioned.
