I know this is a technical forum.. and have zero problems with keeping the politics and religion off of it. it's one of the more important reasons I enjoy these forums.
but many times, there are links to other articles and stories that you don't cover and while it may not be Apple, but it is in the technical realm that some posters and readers alike would enjoy.
perhaps it would be something along the lines of "Random Bits" or somesuch creative name you would give it, but as good as you guys are, we can't expect you guys to cover everything /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
a forum that we the users here could start threads in.. unlike gems, notes and stories where we cannot.
sometimes, it really just doesn't fit under the existing forum listing. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

another forum is really needed. (IMO)

Benton ,
I think I know what macnuke is talking about because I use Google as my Homepage.
When I've fired up Safari or FF, I hit Sci/Tech to see what's happening in the world of technology. It's not vast but it gives me a reasonable idea of what's happening.
There are some articles you can respond to (not many), but you don't get the choice to converse over them. That's what I think macnuke is talking about.
If I'm wrong please correct me.

self edit) I go to Google "before" I open Macworld or any other site I want to look at. And I do understand this is a "Mac"world forum.

OK M, all,
I have a wall cabinet that has a TV on one shelf, CD next down, AM/FM Stereo receiver next.
FM works fine with TV on. AM is static when TV is on. I've moved wire/antenna around (best position) but ......
Q: Do you know of a way to cut down the static?
They all have to stay in the same place.
Thanks,
Peter
