I've been using a Palm with my Mac for a long time now. However I don't notice many people using Palm's anymore. I see a lot of Blackberry's and the odd PocketPC. What are people using these days - and if not a Palm what and how do you find it?

I use a 12" G4 powerbook.
anything smaller just doesn't satisfy my needs. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm using a Palm TX that I really love. Unfortunately, it's in the shop right now because a portion of the screen wouldn't calibrate correctly. To Palm's credit, the support phone call to arrange for repair was less than ten minutes in total.
I sync with Missing Sync and it's working great.
I'd consider a Blackberry if my day job would pay for it. As for PocketPC, unless I knew I could get good syncing, I wouldn't use it. Then again, I actually prefer Palm's OS.

Interesting. I have a Palm T/X and its gone into the shop for replacement 6 times. I'm on my 6th unit and this one seems to be working fine. I've used Palms for years and this is the first one I've ever had any trouble with. It is great from a looks point of view and the WiFi but it has been a finicky unit; from resets from Versamail to the screen developing a halo effect; to writing becoming difficult and inaccurate. They finally said not to use a screen saver. I'm not sure why they make them so I don't use a screen saver now and it works much better.

I have a Palm T3.
I have always liked it quite a bit, use it everyday and could not live without it.
