nope. vpc saves your files in some sort of file (forgot the format). youll have to backup all of the files somehow from your virtual pc then just put them back on the partition with bootcamp

I cannot answer for VPC 7 but prior versions of VPC did not include an actual windows install disc but rather a Virtual PC disk image, so I think that's what the other poster was referencing.
If VPC 7 is like prior versions and it uses a proprietary disk format to hold XP and not provide the actual XP install disk your out of luck.

actually, pre-MS VPC had a copy of Windows with it.
I still have Win95 around somewhere along with the VPC disk.

The disk shipped with VPC won't work with Boot Camp. You need a full version with SP 2 to work. There have been reports of people contacting Microsoft and getting an appropriate version but apparently Microsoft has been giving mixed responses. Some claim that they get the CD without a problem but others say that Microsoft won't ship anything but the same version. You might try yourself though and see how you fare.

If nothing else, you can always find someone with SP2 and duplicate their full install. VPC w/ XP includes the full, legal licence to Windows XP, so doing so would be perfectly legal; just enter the product code included with the VPC copy of XP.
