Great review. The hyperfast-scroll wheel sounds like a great idea.
This product doesn't have the new scroll wheel but is bluetooth and designed for both left and right hand use. In addition, it's not too small (like some notebook-specific mice) and it reasonably matches the color of a PowerBook or MacBook pro - Logitech V270.

Logitech does offer Bluetooth mice. However, for a flagship product, RF gives them a much bigger market: many, many more computers have an extra USB slot than built-in Bluetooth. Beyond that, Bluetooth, even on a Mac, is a more complicated setup than plugging in a dongle. I suspect that many vendors go with RF because it also reduces support costs and returns.
