New Duo (mini) won't open my Quicktime 7.0.4

When I use Firefox or Safari..everytime...A page needs Quicktime..It get the Q ?...Yes, if I launch Quicktime..it works. I check all the preferences, nothing yet. IS this a duo Quicktime...glitch ? Am I current ? is there a fix ? Anybody ?

run your software updater.
QT should be 7.1

And you might need this plug-in Flip4Mac for Quicktime when checking out the popular video sites. Quicktime is camera-shy on these sites, but if click on a video a second time or so out of desparation, Quicktime does work and becomes a routine. You might be better off with Flip4Mac.
