I've got a MacBook Pro with 1 stick of 1GB RAM, and I'd like to add another 1 GB stick into the other slot to gain the preformance.
I found the following deal on newegg.com:
OCZ Value 1GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 (PC2 5400) Notebook Memory Model OCZ26671024VSO - Retail
For $84.99 (US), plus an 8 dollar mail in rebate and 4.99 three day shipping. So after all that it becomes $82.98 including three-day shipping. It is getting really good comments from users.
I'm not experianced with hardware upgrading, so I was wondering if that is a good price? Is a good enough kind of RAM? Is there a difference between PC 5300 and PC 5400 with all the same other specs?
Most imporantly, can I get it much cheepr somewhere else?
