Hey, I'm trying to figure out how to use Microsoft's Remote Desktop Connection to connect back to my Windows computer at home. The problem is that my home computer is located behind a NAT router, which itself has a dynamic IP address. What are some good ways to get around this to access my computer?

LarryV,
Basically, you have to open the necessary ports on your firewall and forward the traffic to your PC if you have multiple computers. Also make sure that Remote Assistance is allowed in that PC.
Once you do that, RDC you type the WAN IP address (that is the IP address given by your service provider at home) and that should do the trick.
To do the first part you should consult the documentation for your router or the online documents posted in the web site of the company that manufactures your router.
You can go to Microsoft's Knowledge Base site and search for the ports that need to be opened. I have obtained that info many times myself through MS's web site.
Hope it helps!
