I just recently switched to a mac, and one thing I did on my old computer from time to time was play poker on pokerstars.net. I just checked and they don't have a version for the mac. I was wondering if any of you guys know of any software similar to PokerStars that runs on an intel mac?
I searched a few my self that I knew like party poker and stuff, but those were windows based too.
-Thanks

ok, I just found one. Full tilt poker works. The good thing is that it is one of the most popular ones...
EDIT: dang, it's a power pc version. I'll keep looking

Try a search using Version Tracker.
Although you don't tell us how old your Mac is I ran a few searches.
Here are version trackers search for OS 9

and a search for OS X

Yes, all Intel Macs run OS X only.
However, they can run Powermac applications by running what is known as rosetta. Which dynamically translates PowerPC applications to work with Intel based applications. In situations such as this rosetta will work flawlessly.
So your Full tilt poker find will work.

By the way, I use Poker Room, which is Java based and is platform independent.

You could also always use bootcamp or parralells of course, if you felt the need too.
