i am feeling a bit nostalgic for my old DOS games - dr. brain and ecoquest and tetris - my favs! (ok stop laughing /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif ) anyhow, i found a place where you can download the old games (i actually have them all on floppies too, but no floppy drive!) and they said you can use DOSBox to play them on new computers...pardon my lack of tech savvy here, but is DOSBox mac compatible? How would I run it on my ibookG4? There are so many options when you go to download it and not really many instructions, so i'm not sure how to work it! Or, is there another way to play old DOS games on the mac?
thanks a bunch!

Seems pretty simple -- download the app, drag DOSbox to your apps folder, then double-click it. When it opens, type mount c ~/mygames to mount your 'mygames' directory as the C drive. Then just run your executables as you would in DOS. Note that you'll need to replace ~/mygames with the full path to a directory containing your games.
It seems to run fine on my G5, though I don't have any DOS games to test it with.
