when most of you bought your monitors did it come with some dead pixels at all casue if i am going to pay 2,500 for a monitor it better not have more then one dead pixel?

Sure does. My 23" has two that I see under certain conditions. You're talking about the 22" I take it. My old 22" had none.
Anyway, don't get overwrought. Think of it this way: if we model the number of dead pixels as your standard Poisson distribution, it's only reasonable to expect more dead pixels from many pixels than from few pixels, yes? When you're paying for a Cinema display, you're paying for a lot of pixels. It's unreasonable to expect fewer dead pixels than one would expect to get on a smaller LCD screen.
I'd be happy with 2 dead pixels. If you get three dead pixels, threaten to sue. images/icons/wink.gif
