In OSX in List View, how do you close all folders? In OS9 there was OPT+Click on the little triangle. Is this function gone for good?

Thanks for the reply Rob, but doesn't do it. What I am looking for is a way to close the top level folder and all contained sub-folders. One mouse click, modified by holding down the option key did it in OS9 but there does not seem to be any simple way to do this in OSX. I am still looking. This seems to me to be a really basic function and how Apple could have overlooked it is beyond me.

Thanks Seymour. This closes windows but it has no effect on open folders. What I am trying to do is, in List View, after opening a series of folders within folders by clicking on the little triangle to the left of the folder icons, is close the first (top level folder) and all the sub-folders without having to go back and close each one individually. It was so simple in OS9.
