Hi
There seems to be a change in iTunes 7.0.1 that [my brother and] I dislike. When in Cover Browser view, iTunes no longer selects just that album. When selecting an album in 7.0.1 it simply brings you to the first song of that album but still has the entire library available.
Why does this bother? Before...You could select the album, play it, and it would shuffle through that album only. Now, after the first song, it will shuffle through the entire library.
This is not cool. I haven't been able to find a setting to change this back to the way it worked in 7.0.0. Is there a way and how?

In iTunes Playback preferences, switch Shuffle mode to Album -- this will play the current album all the way through, then shuffle to a different album.

I appreciate the response Dan but that isn't my desired action. It worked like I would expect in 7.0.0.
When I click on an album, I want it to only show the songs of that album.
However, what does happen...

I see. Have you tried using Browse mode instead of Library mode? I've actually never seen the behavior you described -- perhaps I upgraded to 7.0.1 too quickly /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Exactly...It use to show all the songs of that album. When I click on say, Eric Clapton One More Car/One More Rider (2 CDs) it'll show the Cover, and only play the first song of the album, and then go to a totally different Album/Artist.
Not the end of the world...but pretty close... /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
