So one or two iTunes generations ago (they seem to be showing up faster than usual) I recorded a holloween disc onto iTunes, which happends to be over an hour long. This is not playing in 7.0 now, which is anoying because I put it on there to pretty much back up an aging CD. This song has always been a little strange too, iTunes never alowed me to put album art with it for no reason whatsoever. So anyone know what I can do to get the song to play again?

What format is it in? MPEG Audio format, AIFF, AAC, WAV? Can you get it to play in QuickTime?

the thing is in apple lossless (m4a). I just tried to play it in quick time, but all I hear is static every so often or just nothing. Suprisingly thats actualy better than iTunes, because it doesnt even atempt to play it there.

It should (Gee, I hate that word) work.
Try a second opinion. Download Amadeus II (shareware)
web page
and see if it'll read the "song."
I use Amadeus on problem MPEGs. I have to read the file in, save
in AIFF format, read in the AIFF, and save it as an MPEG.
