I have a dual 450 MHz Powermac G4.
What is the maximum amount of usable memory I can install into my computer running OS X Tiger?
OWC says up to 2 gigs with OS X, but I don't see this mentioned anywhere else.
Thanks!

Hi
It is 2GB by utilizing four 512MB modules. Apple claims 1.5GB but that was way back when. The other likely reason is Mac OS 9.x and earlier could only utilize 1.5GB. If you had more than that installed, the remainder would be falsely reported to being used by the System / Finder.
