O.K., I have finally figured out part of my problem with the photos that go onto my iPod (new 5.5 gen video). But need to know how to correct! I have two years worth on my computer in iPhoto (2005 and 2006), the rest are kept on an external drive. Now, I have taken some photos of things to sell on eBay, sold them and deleted them from iPhoto (deleted the "roll" named "eBay") . However, they still show up on the iPod! Before iPhoto 6, I could go into Finder (I know, I know -- I'm aware of the probs and I am/was careful) and find those photos and delete them and all was fine. Now, if I go into finder, I cannot locate the photos. I have renamed my rolls so they are more descriptive, and that is all I can see when I go into finder. No eBay roll is there to delete. The photos were not named other than what the camera named them, so don't know how to look for them with Spotlight. Can anyone help me figure out how to get the photos out of there???
One more small issue, is that on the iPod, the photos seem to be by month (tht's fine) but the months are alphabetical (in reverse order, I might add). Any way to get them to be in sequential/chronological order? When I tell iTunes what photos to put on the iPod, I navigate the the "Originals" folder (wish there was a way to get the "modified" and "originals" so that there would only be one of each photo) and choose that. Should I be doing something different?
