Not sure if this is the best place to post this, but I don't see a better one...
I have a Powerbook at home running 10.4 and a G3 running 10.3 at work. And, I have a Treo 650 and use the Palm Desktop software. I have had a palm PDA and have used the Mac operating system going back at least 7-8 years.
And it has never been right. It's been good enough to use, but I'm constantly getting dupe contact or appointment or memo entries, or losing contact entries or parts of contact entries, or appointments. Not enough to make it unusable, but not enough to be satisfied, either.
At one time, I decided to switch over to iCal/Address Book/.mac, but even allowing for the minor functionalities I had to give up (memo pad), it was a disaster, and i had to switch back, at a great cost of time and effort.
Now, I've recently become aware of Missing Sync and am eager to hear from users. Does anyone use this software to connect the Palm and Mac OSs, and will it support these productivity aims better than Palm Desktop does?
Any help or feedback will be gratefully accepted.
