I just got a G3 333 mhz iMac running osx 10.2 (along with a G3 400 running 10.3).
I was able to set up the 400 to connect to the internet, but have not been able to set up the 333. When I try to connect (using built-in ethernet and DSL modem) the "send" bar is very active, but the "recieve" bar is empty. the authentication works ok, and it appears that it is connected (the staus bar shows the amount of time connected) , but I'm not able to load web pages with either safari or explorer.

Can you give us some context: What is the "send bar" and "recieve bar"? This sounds like a modem connection, but you said you were doing a DSL connection.
DSL routers generally give you an Ethernet port to connect to. If it's an Ethernet connection, then you just have to configure your computer to have the right TCP/IP settings (in the Network System Preferences pane), and use an Ethernet cable to connect to the DSL router.

Sorry! I'm a novice here. I am using an ethernet connection through a DSL router. It is configured exactly the same as the other iMac. I think a major difffrence in what I see on the screen is that I am running 10.2, and the "connect to internet" interface looks different.
I'll post a picture of the screen if i can...
