Is anyone satisfied with any of the Studio/Agency management products? In my experience, they have all been awful. The one i liked was Job Manager by MetaComm, but they failed to produce an OS X version, as they had promised, and therefore wasted my (rather expensive) investment in their product. This really burned me.. Please enlighten me.

>>My advice is, get Filemaker and hire a FM guru to build exactly the manager you want.
Here, here!! Good advice indeed.
And, BTW, what is this article telling us? Creative Manager Pro is a web-based solution. So, they are basically telling us that their web site is compatible with your browser. WOW! alert the media!

Not such a minimal thing, actually. Apple has a habit of "breaking" compatibility with some websites when Safari gets updated with a new OS release. Most Notably, Panther. Westlaw.com worked flawlessly with the original version of safari, and the panther update broke it. Called westlaw to complain, and they said they knew of the problem and had reported it to Apple as a bug. About a month or two later, it was back up and running. If you're dependent on a web application, it's nice to know that the new "features" of Safari will work properly.

I agree completely. I used to do this at my company (now I'm in charge of the Mac division, large deployments, etc...). If you're in the greater Washington DC area and need this service, check out www.cornetser.com and give them a call. With several highly skilled and certified FileMaker Developers, they can turn out your product relatively quickly, and keep updating it to your needs along the way. Feel free to let 'em know that Dave the mac guy sent ya. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
