Webmail is deleted using Macmail as POP

I'm using my Macmail and Entourage as POP accounts to receive mail from my webhoster's email system. The mail is coming and going fine, but the email is deleting from my webmail host after a week.
Entourage POP accounts are set to leave mail on the server.
MacMail is set to not delete mail from the server until moved from the Macmail inbox. I haven't moved any mail from the MacMail inbox, it is still there.
My webhoster swears it does not delete any emails and the problem is with my client email server.
What am I doing wrong?

I can't find an answer to this question and I am experiencing the same problem. Can anyone point me to the solution? Thanks!
