[Downing]

in iTunes.
This happens only with my oldest iPod, the U2 model. My Nano and 5G iPods still appear first time every time.
But I have to consistently plug in my U2 iPod twice befores it shows up, both in iTunes and on my desktop. This has been going on for about a month or so. Other than being slightly annoying, it's no big deal, but I'm wondering if this is a sign of aging or wear and tear and perhaps it's all downhill from here. It's only two and a half years old, but I use it pretty much every day.
Any ideas?

On the other hand, if it does fry out soon then I'll have a good excuse to get the latest and greatest one that Jobs announces at next month's Expo. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
