I have a Canon Pixma iP4000 printer and my wife recently brought home a Canon all-in-one printer/scanner/copier.
I'm using an intel iMac and want to know if I just plug the new all-in-one into my USB hub, how would I go about using both printers (the all-in-one for docs and stuff, the Pixma for photos)?
Thanks.

Sure, plug the new one into an available USB port, install the software, and add the printer to your printer list. You should be able to switch between them in the Printer Setup Utility or in the Print Dialog, right when you go to print.

Sure you can. I have an HP, and 2 Epsons and an Apple Laserwriter Pro...
It easy to choose from the dialog box when you go to print...

Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I suspected it would be so easy, but since I've never tried it before . . . . I figured I'd ask!
Happy holidays, everyone!

I did the very same thing a short while back and it is easy. The only thing I'll add is that you designate which unit will be your default printer. When the print dialog box comes up, you can switch to the other one if that's what you what.
Bob.
