Greetings!
I am about 1 to 2 weeks from purchasing an iMac. I am through with WIndows machines after the complete death of my last Windows machine about 3 months ago. Anyway....
We have two nanos that are set up to work on Itunes windows. What happens to my nano world when I get the iMac? Can I just plug in and go? Will the whole nano need to be reset and reformatted? I am completely clueless.
Of course, whatever I have to do wont keep me from buying the new mac (like I said, I've had it with Windows machines), but I am curious what I am looking at in terms of the transition.

I have a windows formatted 60gig Ipod Photo, my mac recognizes it fine as well as allowing me to add songs to it and even edit ID3 tags without issue so far and been doing so for 6+ months now.

That is very good news... a nice effortless transition would be nice.

My mac will recognize my friends windows formatted iPod, but his computer won't recognize a mac formatted one.
