Hi,
I've got a serious problem. I just bought a new macbook with office 2004 test drive installed. I started to use Entourage for some important matters. Now the 30-day test has expired (I know that was stupid!) and all my mails are inside office 2004...
Any idea how I can recover my mails from it? Please help me out because they are realy REALY important to me!!!
Thanks

I suppose you could buy the Authorization code. It should all still be on your hardrive.

It's been a while since I used Entourage, so I could be full of crap.
Do you have access to a folder called "Office Identities" or something like that. I think the database for Entourage is located somewhere in there.
You may be able to use Apple Mail (or some other e-mail client application) import the mail from the Entourage database.
Good Luck

Try opening Apple Mail and use the File:Import Mailboxes command. It will access your Entourage DB and pull the messages into Mail. I don't know whether your database made with the trial version is also locked (I would think not, since the data with your messages is separate from the app). If not, it might work directly. If it is locked down with the app, then I would try trashing all the prefs, logs, etc. from Microsoft, then re-install the Test Drive from your original installation disks, in hopes of resetting the clock. Another 30 days would give you the time you need to transfer your mail.

The old trick of rolling back the date in Date & Time preference pane then restarting may also work here - it's been known to jumpstart expired apps in the past. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
The OP could then export the mailbox/user identity. Also, I believe all that wouldn't be needed as the identity is there in the Microsoft User Data folder (Office identities>database) and is able to be imported into Mail, as elsewhere stated.
