hi folks,
i'm trying to find information on how i can migrate my entire itunes library (covers, playlists, podcasts and all) to another imac. everything must be transferred, the less hunting for artwork i had to find once already the better! /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
anybody know how i can go about this or point me at an example i can follow?

cheers,

I was about to post a similar question:
I want to sync my iTunes library between my tower mac G5 and my macBook.
Can anyone suggest to both Rsimpson and I an easy way to accomplish this feat?

It's just a matter of copying folders. If your iTunes Music folder is in
the default location (and not on another HD), copy the iTunes folder
from your Music folder (~/Music/iTunes) to the Music folder of the
other Mac's ~/Music folder. If you don't have a network connection,
burn ~/Music/iTunes to a DVD. If your library is larger than will
fit on a single DVD, it's probably best to use iTunes' Backup.
If your iTunes library is in another location, copy it (wherever/iTunes
Music), too. And point the other Mac's iTunes to that library (Prefs
/Advanced/General).
