Yeah, shame. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif I think I wrote a quick post because it mostly worked as before, just faster.

YuP -d00d...same here after installing it last night.
And for folks that ordered it peek at the ReadMe/Install files. It likes the older version trashed FIRST if you have an upgrade w/ the same SN. And it likes to live in the Utilities folder. But most know this... /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I like it and it boots from the CD just fine.. even tho I ordered an upgrade.
the bad news, it won't boot from the Hard Drive.
well, there's an email for Alsoft to read on Monday.

This is how I installed DW v4.0 (Revision 40): Installed DWv4 on the master internal HD-->turn on the Lacie external HD-->had SuperDuper clone the updated internal HD to the external firewire Lacie. Both boot fine from either HD to run DW.

Mark, did you install and run it from an admin account? Out of habit, I tried to install and run it from my normal user account and it was none too happy with me.

hey Derik
it was installed in my Admin account.
but I didn't read all the directions.
APE ate it. heh heh
on your recomendation, I installed FruitMenu.. and I love it.
but the APE will conflict so you have to add DW to the Master Exclude List.
so what really happened..
I failed to RTFM /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif
it's posted on the support page /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
but it's all good now /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
all I can say......
dam it's fast.
