Don't know if this is the right place to post this question but here goes. Which Utilities App is better onyX or Tiger Cache Cleaner? Do I really need such an application?

you only need the application if you plan on using your Mac, then powering it down.
that prevents some of the unix crons from running as they should.
both are neat little apps, I prefer YASU as it's basically download, install and run it.
the onyx has some features that a novice really doesn't need.
