Oh NO! Last time they made a sweet upgrade, they ruined TV listings so that it is totally USELESS. I mean really, light aqua on white!? Glad I'm not color blind.

All I can say is... OS X users, hold on to your butts. I currently use the My Yahoo portal through my at&t/Yahoo DSL service. More than a few features, such as video and music, are, shall we say, less than optimized for the OS X/Mac user. I doubt the new upgrade will have been tested or or even checked with Safari or OS X. And any suggestions or requests for OS X/Mac support fall on completely deaf ears.
But, we'll see, I guess.

It would be so very ironic if this happens, since Steve Jobs welcomed Jerry Yang, the co-founder of Yahoo on the stage at Macworld in January to describe the things that Apple and Yahoo are collaborating on.

I've also moved to Google. My worst problem with My Yahoo has been a persistent failure to update many RSS feeds properly, but Google's tabs are much easier to set up and use than Yahoo's add-on pages. But I welcome Yahoo's upgrade. Competition is good for the end user.

Let's hope they make more of my.yahoo.com mac-compatible. It's time they eliminate Windows-only content and features.

Amen. I ditched Yahoo for Google and will not go back until they make the site work the same for Mac users as it does for Windows users. Particularly annoying is that Mac users must use Netscape 4.7.6(!) to access video content--worthless to Mac OS X users. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
