Ram memory swap from PB G3 PG G4 ?

Hello,

I've got my PB G3/500 (fireware last module) and also I bought PB G4/400 as a second hand. I'd like to upgrade the RAM memory and because I've got extra 256MB Ram in my PBG3 I'm wondering if I can use that 256MB Ram for my PB G4 ???
I found that many inet shops are selling RAM memory in the same kategory as for G3 (fireware moduls) and G4 as the same slot memory.
So may I use RAM memory form my PB G3 form my PB G4 with out any risk or not ???
