I am using MediaFork to back-up my DVDs and also as a way to save battery life when traveling (thanks Macworld for the tip). The software is very easy to use but I have a few movies that span more than one DVD, namely The Lord of the Rings extended versions. Is there any way to create one file when ripping the DVDs so that I can have seamless playback?

Don't have an answer to your question, but would like a link to "MediaFork"?
What does it do??
Thanks

Not to hijack the thread, but for those who are in the know about this stuff- can you potentially burn the man's #1 LOTR disk onto ONE layer of a dual-layer DVD and #2 LOTR disk onto the SECOND layer? I've never played with dual-layer copying, so I have no clue. My strong point is 'shrinking' big DVD movies to fit on a single standard single-layer disk!
