I can receive mail from anybody, but I can only send mail to Bellsouth accounts. I'm using Mac Mail and have Bellsouth as a provider. Has anyone seen this before. I'm in the military and away from home right now, but I dont' see that being the problem. It was working and then it stopped. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

It comes up with:
This message could not be delivered and will remain in your Outbox until it can be delivered.
Verify that you have addressed this message correctly. Check your SMTP server settings in Mail Preferences and verify any advanced settings with your system administrator.
Let me know if there is anything else you need to know.

I'm hoping it's the first one Macnuke. I'm heading back to Italy in a few days so I'll try it there. That was the last place I knew it worked. If not I'll mess with the settings. And if all else fails, you all will be hearing from me again.
Thanks again.

Alright my problem didn't get fixed when I returned to Italy. Now I'm getting a different problem when I try to send a message. It was.
The server response was: relaying mail to hotmail.com is not allowed
Use the pop-up menu below to try a different outgoing mail server. All messages will use this server until you quit Mail or change your network settings.
I tried using a different out going server with no joy. That one came up with a port error. Any help will be greatly welcome.
