In terms of new features, Contribute CS3 is a relatively minor revision to Contribute 4, which was released last fall. Tom Negrino profiles the big changes with this version, which are found under the hood and result in notably better performance across the board. more

The blogging feature makes Contribute CS3 appealing, even if I don't use it otherwise (I use Dreamweaver for web site creation). This is another reason to get the CS3 Web Premium suite so that I don't have to buy Contribute separately.

Do you work with collaborators?
That is one aspect of the workflow I need to deal with--and want to find a good solution. The people helping (mostly interns), won't be doing much, if any, design, more text placement and formatting. Do you think this is a good option for this? Another copy of Dreamweaver seems a bit excessive at this point...

read this for a better coverage of whats actually new in Contribute CS3 as compared to contribute 4 which was released in last fall.... may be it gives a better understanding of why its more important now for your organization...
BTW, i feel for plain text replacement it would definately replace dreamweaver.. and it comes cheaper as well.. try the free download...
