-1 GHz PowerPC G4 Running: Mac OS-X 10.3.9
-I have SBC/ATT DSL Internet Service complete with a SpeedStream Modem.
-The iMac is hardwired to the Speedstream modem.
I just bought an Airport Extreme Basestation Wireless N Router because I wanted to link a my Mac with another computer in the house. I then took the N router and hardwired it to the modem like it notes in the set-up guide.
The router blinks "Auburn" constantly regardless of resetting the router.
When I tried to install the disk that came with the router it said that the disk could not run because I do not have 10.4 OS-X.
In order to by-pass the disk, I had to open the "Utilities" folder (Airport Setup Assistant for Graphite or Snow). This setup would not work because it did not recognize the Airport Station. It also stated that the computer does not have a Airport card.
*The System Profiler says that my Mac does not have an Airport Card installed.
Is there a way to install an Airport Card on this iMac?
The Apple Store claims that they do not sell cards like this.
Any ideas???
Thanks much!!!
Jon
