I own an aging powermac G4 and I'm having a terrible time finding an airport system for it. Can anyone tell me where I can get an airport card for my machine?
I've thus far resisted the siren song of the Intel mac, chiefly due to the vows of so many hackers to rain down on them with all their fury. I'm still a computer novice, so I find such things very disturbing. Any thoughts?

As of now, the only place I can think of where you can still acquire the older AirPort cards is through eBay.

Macs have had Intel processors inside of them for well over a year now, so you can relieve yourself of such unfounded fears. Aside from a usual antics from the anti-Mac FUD machine, no real threat to Mac users has existed since the introduction of OS X over 6 years ago and the Intel transition does not change that. Malware problems in the Windows world is a Windows problem; it has nothing to do with Intel or Macs running on Intel hardware.

There are still some sites that sell the original airport, some even with a 90 day warranty.. but they are pretty expensive. $99-$129. eBay is probably your best bet, although you may want to go with a store online like MegaMacs.com or MacSolutions.com or any of a dozen others a quick google search will find you.
