Alright,
So here is the situation. I want to get a bluetooth earpiece but I want to make sure it's the only one I have to buy in the next year here. I don't have a bluetooth phone yet, but I will soon, hence why I would like a bluetooth earpiece that works with my Mac for now, and then when I get a bluetooth phone I'd like it to work for that too.
Any suggestions?

My apologies if the following doesnt apply to your specific intended cell phone usage.
Get whatever you want for your computer, leave the bluetooth at home, and when in public or when driving, use the cell just for brief, urgent, focused communications only.
Loud mindless phone chatter in public has replaced cigarette second hand smoke as the number one public inconsiderate self-centered selfish act. And cell use behind the wheel--including hands-free-- is functionally similar to low level DWI.
