Hi,
Apple newbie here, finally threw in the towel on Windows. I know, what took me so long, right?
I am looking for a smart phone/PDA to work with my new laptop. Any ideas on which work best with OS-X or should I just wait for the iPhone?
Thanks

I have been using the Palm Treo 650 (sprint) with macs for several years. Sync s fine with entourage using palm hot sync. I have also read good things about "Mark Space missing sync software" , I have not personally tried it yet but you may want to check it out.

Missing Sync works great and you can get it for just about every current PDA/Phone on the market.
I use Missing Sync for my Motorola Q and it works great...has a few quirks here and there but overall the software works great. If you are looking for smartphones I would check out Howard Forums for helpful information. Also, if you are interested in the Q I would check out www.qusers.com

first of all, congratulations on the mac. check out :
http://www.apple.com...nc/devices.html

a list of devices compatible with Apple iSync.

Most Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Motorola phones are compatible. Palms have great compatibility. Blackberry is compatible via Mark Space's Missing Sync and the now free PocketMac. WinMobile is compatible via MarkSpace. A lot of phones are also compatible via Susteen's datapilot.

these and other phones like LGs, Samsungs, Siemens et cetera are supported by various third party tools.

have fun with your mac.
