I recently purchased a 320GB external Firewire/USB2 HD. I wanted to create 4 partitions as such:
1. Mac OS X Install DVD (~5GB: my Powerbook doesn't have a working CD/DVD drive-- so I could boot via Firewire)
2. Mac OS X 10.4 (~6GB: to have a working install handy just in case)
3. Windows XP Professional Install CD or working installation of XP Pro (~5GB: so I could have my PC boot from the external drive via USB)
4. Free space (~300GB)
How could I configure my drive such that it would be able to have both a bootable OS X partition (for a Powerbook) as well as an XP partition (for my PC)?
