MAC MAIL

Is there any way to stop mac mail from auto displaying your email contents. I have looked and cannot seem to locate this option.

Take a look at the line dividing the list of emails from the email displayed. There is a dot in the center of that line. This means the line is movable. Use your mouse, click on the line and while holding the mouse button down drag the line to the bottom of the email window. You will no longer see the contents of selected emails. Double click emails to open them after making this change.
