Hi all,
I've tried posting this question on a Microsoft/Mac Office Newsgroup. Of course there wasn't an answer. Hoping someone might have a suggestion for something that I thought wasn't such a bad idea:
I have created a rule in Entourage that will copy an email to my .Mac account (simple Rule that say's copy folder content of normal e-mail account to .Mac). The problem with the rule is that it keeps on repeating without stopping the copying process once selecting all messages in a folder; hence creating unlimited amounts of copies of the messages on my .Mac account.
How do I modify the rule to run only once, or otherwise only move one copy of the messages. For some reason the whole thing works fine for 3 or 4 messages, but nothing with several weeks of mail.
Here's a copy of the rule:
- If: (Execute: if all criteria are met)
- Folder is 'hweilandmail'
- Then:
- Copy Message 'hweilanddotmac'
- Do not apply other rules
I execute the rule by highlighting the e-mails I want to copy, and running
the rule under the 'right-click + Apply Rule' menu.
Any suggestion's would be much appreciated!
Cheers,
Hannes
