When I reply back and forth with someone, each subsequent message used to be a bit more indented, which became irritating. Now, somehow, I get a new colored vertical line beside each new message, which builds to multiple lines as the messages go back and forth. How do I control these Reply features? I don't want either one. I just want normal same width text flowing from reply to reply, separated only by the usual name, date, etc.
Thx.

Well I can only guess at which mailing app you're using to view your mail since you don't actually say but normally that sort of thing is a program preference. So, unless there's something in it's preferences about it then I would have to say no, you can't change it. You might also want to look under the "View" menu.

The vertical lines are supplied by the email program indicating that the item has been forwarded. You can eliminate them by highlighting the text (including the vertical lines) and copying it to your new email; the lines will disappear.
