Printers and scanner for soho/sme

Me and a biz partner are starting up our graphic design business from my second bedroom. We are looking at buying an A3 colour inkjet, an A4 BW small office laser, and a medium range scanner with transparency hood.

We were thinking of a Epson 1290 inkjet, a Heidleberg 1200 scanner and a BW A4 laser for about 300 quid. PS level 3 on B+W, possibly with an ethernet card. With two Mac's, how do you network all the stuff together.... Do you need a seperate hub..?
