To preface, I need to state that I'm new to macs and do not have a lot of experience with networking.
That said, I have a home desktop pc with a Netgear WGR614 wireless router. I also have a Linksys WPS54G Wireless-G Print Server connected to an HP Photosmart 7350 printer. Everything on the desktop PC works fine.
I just recently purchased a 15" Macbook Pro 2.2 ghz Intel Core 2 duo notebook. I was able to get on the internet no problem, but I do not know how to set-up the wireless print server. I tried going to System Preferences>Print & Fax and adding an IP Printer. I typed in the IP address of the print server (192.168.0.4) to see if that would work, but it did not. I did connect the printer directly to the Macbook via USB and everything worked fine.
Again, this is my very first Mac and I love it. There has got to be a way for this print server to be connected to the Mac, but I just don't know how to do it.
Thanks in advance.

Definitely NOT the IP address.
You have two issues to deal with - driver and Printer/print server Setup.
Driver: Drivers on OS X aren't universal (any comm protocol) like on Windows. The Manufacturers (except Brother) have decided to use the old Carbon-style drivers, where they get to limit the comm protocol in the driver. So, your HP driver is USB-only. CUPS drivers ARE universal, but you'll have to use a third-party driver. Get the latest Gutenprint:
http://gimp-print.so...net/MacOSX.php3
Get help setting up to use the print server:
http://www.macosxhin...93&query=wps54g
(Not sure because I don't have a WPS54G, but L1 or P1 is the queue name to be entered in Printer Setup on a Mac)
